FAQ

What's so great about Lollipop Network?

It is currently the only ad-supported network to air the most popular children's shows from PBS, despite Universal Kids currently overflowing with original programming.  At least, until the network confirmed that they will no longer create or commision original programming.  But Lollipop Network's got some PBS children's shows that Universal Kids didn't when it was still called Sprout.

Does Lollipop Network have anything to do with the candy?

Of course not.  It's just a fun name for a children's network.

Can I suggest a show for Lollipop Network?

Well, it depends on the behavior of the show.  I can't handle shows or movies with super crazy cartoon behavior, really worry-filled peril combined with unpredictable singing moments (blame that for The Land Before Time being on Sprout which is an example of what I can't put on there), and antagonists with terrible looks and voices.  And it also depends on how important the show is to the company or network of the show.

NOTICE: Okay, so I just watched a Land Before Time movie on HBO.  It wasn't all that bad, despite the mild perils of the evil Sharpteeth happening between songs (There were exactly three song in it. Three is not too much song in this case.)  However, I still won't watch or put the classic Don Bluth Land Before Time movie on the network because Petrie in that one has a very awful voice than in the video films.  Therefore I am now accepting musical movies and shows with peril for my network (As long as there are no disturbing characters seen throughout them.)

What I CAN'T Put On Lollipop Network:

- Original programming from Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network that's currently running

- Kids shows that act a bit too much like a show for adults

- Programs from Nickelodeon (1990s-early 2000s only) that seem extremely important to those companies

- Films owned by Disney that are super popular to the company and fit in with the whole brand

What I CAN Put On Lollipop Network:

- Programming from Universal Kids, Discovery Family, Qubo and PBS Kids

- Netflix and Amazon Prime originals

- Programming from other countries, and if the program had been picked put by Nickelodeon or Disney, that's also acceptable

- Family-oriented programming (Targeted to both kids and adults)

Can I watch Lollipop Network shows On Demand?

There are three ways people in Evanville can watch their favorite Lollipop Network shows anytime.  They can find occasional full episodes here on LollipopNetwork.com (Real people can do this too) or they can go to Lollipop On Demand on their TV provider's program guide and watch some of their favorite shows just by using their remote.  Also, Evanville citizens can watch some of their favorite programming on their smartphone and tablet anywhere (with a Wi-Fi or Cellular connection) via the Lollipop Network app, available for iOS (Apple App Store) or Android (Google Play).

What happened to the Games page?

Many international programming that airs on Nickelodeon or Universal Kids don't carry games on their websites.  In fact, many original programming on Netflix or Amazon Prime don't carry any games on any websites.  Just stick with videos from now on.
